Organizations and Gun Clubs

The
Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) promotes
firearms safety training and rifle practice for all qualified U.S. citizens
with special emphasis on youth. The CMP operates through a network of
affiliated shooting clubs and associations that covers every state in the
US. The clubs and associations offer firearms safety training and
marksmanship courses. |
| Los Alamos Sportsmen's Club
The Los Alamos Sportsmen's Club is an organization with over 400 memberships
(individual and family). The Club provides instruction and a place to safely
enjoy all shooting activities. Training in all forms of firearm handling and
shooting provides our community with requisite skills for recreation,
hunting, competition, and self protection. The Club currently has Shotgun,
Rifle, Pistol, Archery, Silhouette, Cowboy Action, Machine Gun, Women's and
Junior sections. |

Shooting Sports Association is the NRA State Association for New Mexico,
representing the many facets of NRA's programs and activities throughout New
Mexico. NRA programs provide almost unlimited opportunities for your State
Association to bring instructional and recreational shooting opportunities
to our local communities and to educate the general public about the full
meaning of the 2nd Amendment. |

Club, they maintain facilities for rifle, pistol, shotgun and gun safety
instruction through their IDPA, IPSC, SASS and other NRA affiliated internal
