ARCHERY

The new archery range is open, located between the 1000 yard range and the shotgun facility. There is a known distance practice range with excelsior target backstops at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 100 yards. A paper tune up frame is available in the 10 yard lane. In addition there is a crossbow and broadhead range with target stands at 20, 30, 40 and 50 yards for pre-hunting checkout. A 10 target walking course is open with 2D animal targets.

3D events are held every 3rd Saturday of each month starting at 10:00. Check in starts at 9:00 and there will be 20, 3D targets. The practice range is closed, start at 10:00, during an event. All levels of shooters are welcome.

The archery range has a gate and you will need to take a short range orientation to get a gate key and range access. Range orientation if offered after each 3D event.

• 8 Lanes with 48” x 60” excelsior target butts at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 100 Yards.
• Paper tune up frame in the 10 yard lane.

• 4 Broadhead target stands at 20, 30, 40 and 50 yards.
• Check your broadhead arrow accuracy before you go hunting.

• About 0.8 mile loop for the full course.  The trail goes up and down the draws over the hills and across bridges. 
• Two loops A (Practice) and B (Events).
• Target lanes for 10 to 65 yards.
• Uphill – Downhill – In the trees – Simulated tree stand shots - Realistic hunting shots.
• A Loop
• The A loop will have 8 target lanes and will be open most of the time for practice.
• Target bales will be in position for field targets.
• The loop starts and ends near the practice range parking area.
• Lanes are marked at 4 ranges – Cub to Expert (Yellow, White, Blue, Red).
• B Loop
• The B loop will have 12 target lanes and only be open for 3D/Field scheduled events.
• When the B loop is open, the practice range will be closed.
• 20 animal targets will be available for 3D events using the A and B loop.
• Lanes are marked at 4 ranges – Cub to Expert (Yellow, White, Blue, Red).
• The B loop starts after the A-8 lane and returns near the 100 yard practice lane.
